Who this policy covers

This policy applies to TVL Money by The Viral Lines at https://money.thevirallines.net, including its public news pages, account area, newsletter form and contact form. It does not control the privacy practices of websites or services we link to.

Information we collect

Information you submit

• Account and profile data: name, email address, phone number, username, password hash, profile image, biography and account status. Verification and password-reset tokens may be stored for account security.
• Newsletter data: the email address you enter when asking to receive the TVL Money briefing.
• Contact data: name, email address, phone number, enquiry type, message and submission time.
• Contributor data: article drafts, published content, images and related authorship records submitted through an authorized user account.
• Legacy verification records: the current application does not request or serve identity-document uploads. A reviewed legacy database may still contain an obsolete file-path reference from an earlier workflow; the production hardening process removes that field after the owner verifies and securely deletes any underlying file that has no continuing legal basis.
• Communications: information you send when reporting an error, sharing a tip or speaking with us by phone, email, social media or WhatsApp.

Information generated by the service

Our hosting and application systems may generate technical logs such as IP address, browser or device type, requested URL, referring page, date and time, response status and security events. When signed in, the website also uses a session identifier so it can keep you authenticated and protect forms.

Do not submit passwords, one-time codes, bank details, trading-account credentials, full government identifiers or other highly sensitive information through the newsletter or contact forms.

How we use information

We use information for the purposes a reader would reasonably expect from the feature being used, including to:

• create, verify, secure and support user accounts;
• display an authorized author profile and manage submitted articles;
• send requested newsletters and transactional account emails;
• review and reply to corrections, tips, partnership requests and other enquiries;
• moderate content, prevent abuse, investigate security incidents and enforce our terms;
• understand site reliability and improve navigation, performance and content; and
• meet legal obligations or protect the rights and safety of readers, contributors and TVL Money.

We do not use account or contact-form data to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

When information may be shared

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose limited information in these circumstances:

• Service providers: hosting, database, security and email-delivery providers may process information only to provide their technical service.
• Public publishing: an author name, username, biography, profile image and published contribution may be visible when you choose to publish through an authorized contributor account.
• Legal and safety needs: we may preserve or disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, investigate fraud or protect people and systems.
• Business change: relevant records may transfer as part of a merger, reorganization or transfer of the publication, subject to appropriate safeguards.

Links to Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube and WhatsApp take you to third-party services. Their privacy policies apply after you leave this website.

Cookies, sessions and server logs

TVL Money uses an essential session cookie to maintain sign-in state, protect forms against cross-site requests and remember short-lived security information. Blocking that cookie can prevent account and form features from working.

Standard server logs may be used to diagnose errors, manage traffic, detect suspicious activity and measure basic service health. At the date of this policy, this notice does not claim that TVL Money operates behavioral advertising or cross-site tracking; if those practices are introduced, this policy and any required consent controls should be updated.

Retention and security

Retention depends on the record. Account data is generally kept while an account is active and as needed afterward for security, publishing history or legal obligations. Newsletter addresses are retained until removal is requested or the list is retired. Contact messages and logs are retained only as long as reasonably needed for follow-up, abuse prevention, troubleshooting or compliance.

Legacy identity-document files are not used by the current contributor workflow. If a deployment audit finds one, it must remain outside the public web root with access limited to authorized ownership personnel and be securely deleted after review unless a documented legal obligation requires temporary retention.

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information, including hashed passwords, restricted account areas and request-validation controls. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Because TVL Money serves a worldwide audience and uses internet infrastructure, information may be processed in locations outside your state or country. Where required, appropriate safeguards should be applied to that processing.

Your choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may ask us to access, correct or delete personal information, withdraw a newsletter request, or object to certain processing. Some records may need to be retained for security, journalism, legal claims or other lawful reasons.

• Update supported profile details from your user dashboard.
• Request newsletter removal through the unsubscribe method in a message or by contacting us.
• Ask a privacy question through the contact page and clearly label the message “Privacy request”.

Children and minors

Account and contributor features are intended for people able to enter a valid agreement. A minor should use the service only with a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child submitted personal information without appropriate consent, contact us so the issue can be reviewed.

Privacy questions and changes

We may update this policy when the website, service providers or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the latest published version.
